Donating and Volunteering

Each year the Y Camp Director is asked, What does the camp need? Well, we thought we would put some needed items in writing to all so that if someone wanted to purchase or donate something to the camp they could. Remember, the YMCA Camp is a 501C3 organization so individuals can receive a tax donation when they donate or contribute to the camp. We are very grateful to contributors in 2005.

We are in need of the following: We will be happy to accept donated items as long as they are in good working order.
• Electic Motor Boat that can be used for water emergency rescue
• Sunfish or similar type sailboats (New $2,500 per craft)
• Canoes or Kayaks (You may have one out in your garage you don’t use anymore)
• Board Games for rainy day programming.
• PA/Music System (New $1,000 used $600)
• Convection Ovens for 3 kitchens
• Sports Equipment (ie. gloves, bats, tennis racquets, ball, street hockey sticks)
• Maintenance Equipment,.
• Volleyball nets, basketballs and nets. Gas grills for family time.
